Amalgama is the name Alejandro Romero gave to his project which tend to reflect a non binary tendency. City life with all his contrast tend to makes us feel anxious. The idea of this album is to give space for relaxation even in the moments when life gets a little difficult. For this the mixture of sounds it’s about jazz, electronic, minimal and house elements. Here’s a better description of the album process:

Love Process is Amalgama's first LP on Overlap Records. It's music talks about the process of love with all its shadows and contrasts, looking in the end the light of peace and freedom. Musically in this album the artist reflects its taste for uptempo and downtempo music, join together in a journey that tells about its background and its family history. Your heart reflects how things go away when we loose a relationship que missed a lot. Conversaciones is the state of mind in which politicial problems can get you involved in your own inner shadow. Utopía mean how the shadow gives us permission to see its light. Sadness mean the continous reflection and resilience we have to deal with to cope with all the darkness that surrounds us. We think Mixtura is an important part of the process of discovering new sounds and freedom. Mixtura it’s also the form in which different elements collide to give just one unity. Boogie out is what it means to be a dancing star. We live in a world where a lot of fog don’t let us see our inner child. This is why we have to go deeper in ourselves to escape from the city hustle.This process was meant to be somehintg special. Something deep and unique. Trust is what it takes to makes it bigger and bigger. Spiritual Awakening means to depelop certain independency from what people should think about yourself.
